How can I order a new prescription?

 

If you think you may need a new prescription medicine, and you are registered with the Bayswater Medical Surgery, please make an appointment with the Doctor on:

Requests made for a medicine you have not had before, or for one prescribed by your previous practice will not be issued until you see one of our Doctors.

 

How can I order a repeat prescription?

 

If you take regular medication, you will be required to attend the surgery for periodic reviews for your repeat prescriptions to continue. Please note that six-monthly prescriptions for contraception are provided. Repeat prescriptions for a further six-monthly supply will not be provided without an appointment and a health check with a practice nurse.

We aim to provide your repeat prescription within 24 hours. However, there may be occasions when this is not possible then we will endeavor to provide your prescription within 48 hours. This may be left at the pharmacy, at the reception or posted to you on receipt of a stamped addressed envelope. You may email your request using our online service.  Alternatively, you can send us a fax, a written request or use the tear off slip from your previous prescription which has details of your current medication listed. Request forms are available at the reception of both branches.
